Tour du Père Labat

Located in the commune of Baillif, south of Basse-Terre, the Tour du Père Labat is an emblematic historical vestige of Guadeloupe. It was built in the early 18th century by Father Jean-Baptiste Labat, a Dominican missionary, engineer and chronicler who left his mark on the history of the French West Indies.
