Kwazé Chouval – Temps Fort Jeunesse

With Kwazé Chouval, the Difé Kako dance company presents a production for young audiences that brings together cultural heritage, dance, and contemporary art. The show focuses in particular on cultural exchanges between Guadeloupe, Africa, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, and Europe. Led by choreographer Chantal Loïal, the production combines dance, live music, moving images, spoken word, and visual poetry. From the quadrille to krump, via the traditional violin and Afro-descendant rhythms, various artistic forms intersect to tell the story of the transmission and evolution of cultures. The figure of the horse serves as a central theme throughout this journey, inviting young audience members to discover how traditions travel, transform, and give rise to new forms of expression.
