Reclaiming Tropical Modernism

Fort Delgrès is hosting “Reclaiming Tropical Modernism,” an exhibition accompanied by lectures dedicated to modern tropical architecture and its relationship to climate and society. Through this program, the public is invited to take a fresh look at the principles of tropical modernism, at how architecture adapts to climatic conditions, and at the insights it offers today regarding the environment, housing, and heritage. Presented over several weeks at Fort Delgrès, the exhibition offers a space for discovery and reflection on architecture in tropical environments.
