Sélune – Pour tous les noms de la terre
*Sélune – By All the Names on Earth* tells the story of a young woman looking for a job. As she sets out to write a simple cover letter, the exercise gradually brings her past to the surface: her childhood, her parents, her wounds, and even the origin of her first name—which is different from the one her family had chosen for her. Written by Haitian author Faubert Bolivar, the play is performed solo on stage by Karine Pédurand. Speech gradually gives way to movement and dance, in a production where the audience becomes a direct witness to Sélune’s memories and questions. Blending theater, personal narrative, and physical expression, the play explores themes of identity, memory, transmission, and personal reconstruction.
