Discover traditional craftsmanship during a coconut matting workshop at Parc de la Source in Bouillante. Led by Anyonne, this activity will teach you more about the coconut palm and its many uses in Caribbean culture. After a presentation on coconuts and their various applications, it’s time to get hands-on with an introduction to coconut palm weaving—a traditional craft passed down from generation to generation. Open to children ages 6 and up, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your family, develop your creativity, and discover a piece of local heritage in a natural and friendly setting.
