Les 8 Saisons – De Vivaldi à Piazzolla

In *Les 8 Saisons*, two musical worlds separated by nearly three centuries come together: that of Antonio Vivaldi and that of Astor Piazzolla. The show takes the audience on a journey from Venice to Buenos Aires, from the elegance of Baroque music to the intensity of Argentine tango. Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons evoke, in turn, the awakening of spring, the warmth of summer, the colors of fall, and the winds of winter. Several centuries later, Piazzolla revisits this cycle through his *Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas*, imbued with the atmosphere and energy of the streets of Buenos Aires. Brought together in a single production, these two works echo and contrast with one another. The seasons thus become the common thread of a musical dialogue between two eras, two continents, and two sensibilities.
