Sénaya – La Voix du Soûlkréòl

Artchipel welcomes Sénaya for an evening dedicated to Soûlkréòl, a fusion of musical styles where Caribbean sounds meet those of Africa and numerous contemporary influences. Accompanied by five musicians, the artist presents a repertoire rooted in her Guadeloupean heritage and drawing on a wide range of styles: gwoka, biguine, quadrille, zouk, soul, jazz, blues, spirituals, folk, makossa, mbalax, Afrobeat, and funk. This musical diversity accompanies songs performed primarily in Creole, French, and Wolof. Through her show *Sénaya, La Voix du Soûlkréòl*, the artist invites the audience to explore a world built around cultural fusion, tradition, and her various cultural influences.
